Our Mission

Our goal is to provide the best physical therapy in the Lynchburg area by giving

the most holistic, most compassionate and most advanced care.

Our Philosophy

Every person is unique, and their injuries and goals are equally unique. In order to help people get the most from their body, they require an individualized approach. We provide individually personalized physical therapy. We work alongside our clients as partners in their health to help them achieve their goals by treating their body as a whole. By treating the whole person, we help our clients achieve a new level of health and fitness so that they do not get injured again. We hope that when our clients return to us, it's either for a new unrelated injury or to celebrate their achievements.

How We Treat People

Our sessions are one on one for the entirety of each session so we can get to know our client’s goals to help them achieve success. We evaluate our clients from head to toe in all planes of motion to figure out the root causes of their injury or dysfunction. We then create a personalized plan with hands-on therapy that utilizes an eclectic approach to decrease their pain. Then we use personalized exercises to help our clients move better, improve their posture and get stronger to keep them pain free. As clients progress, their exercise program will simulate the activities that they do in their sport to build confidence and enhance their performance. By utilizing this holistic approach, we make sure that when our clients complete their physical therapy, they do not fear reinjury and can be confident in their return to their favorite activities at an improved level of fitness.

What We Treat

We treat a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions from head to toe. We have extensive experience in orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation of shoulders, knees, hips, feet, and spine as well as neurological conditions including Parkinson's, stroke, multiple sclerosis, ataxia, Guillan Barre and headaches.

Running Injuries

With a strong background in coaching and training runners, we do running gait analysis to get our patients back to running faster. with less risk of injury.

Scoliosis, Posture and Back Pain

These are three dimensional problems that require a three dimensional solution. With our specialized training, we can correct posture where others have failed.

Foot and Ankle Injuries

We specialize in treating foot and ankle injuries. While orthotics may be useful and recommended, we understand that the foot is designed to function without a crutch and will help you retrain your feet to work the way they were intended.

Balance and Falls

Falls are the leading cause of death from injury among people 65 and older. Muscle loss, poor balance and dizziness are the top causes of falls, and with our strategies we can improve all of these to give you confidence.

Headaches and Migraines

Chronic headaches and migraines are debilitating. Through the use of dry needling, posture correction and improving ergonomics, we can decrease headache frequency and intensity.

Throwing Injuries

Whether you play baseball, softball, volleyball, or basketball, we have extensive training in working with overhead athletes and throwing sports in particular. The shoulder often gets injured but is rarely the cause. We find the cause to keep you on the field.

Post-surgical Rehabilitation

We have extensive training and experience rehabbing injuries after shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and spine surgeries. Whether it's a joint replacement or a reconstructive surgery, we can get you back in the game.

ACL Prevention and Rehab Program

We have a specialized process for training athletes to prevent and rehab from ACL tears so that they can return to their sport without fear of reinjury.

Injury Prevention, Health & Fitness Coaching

We work with teams and athletes to screen them for injury risk and create a plan to restore mobility and strength in their concerning areas to make sure they have a healthy season. For non-sport participants, we create programs to help them live their best life.
