Getting you out of pain, and back to your sport.

Still Hurting After Trying Everything?
You're Treating the Symptom, Not the Cause
Most clinics chase the pain. Without a full-body, three-dimensional movement assessment, the root cause of your hip pain, back pain, or injury keeps coming back — no matter how many sessions you complete.
You're Losing Time to Cookie-Cutter Care
Insurance-driven PT limits you to rushed, shared appointments where one-size-fits-all exercises rarely match your body, your goals, or your sport. Progress stalls, and frustration grows.
Your Recovery Has a Deadline You Can't Afford to Miss
A season, a race, a return to work — the clock is ticking. Without a clear, personalized plan and a provider who truly knows your body, every week of delay costs you more than just time.

Your Questions, Answered
What is mobile concierge physical therapy?
Mobile concierge PT means Dr. DeWitt comes to you — your home, gym, workplace, court, or athletic field. Instead of commuting to a clinic, you receive fully personalized, one-on-one physical therapy in the environment that's most convenient (and often most functional) for your recovery and performance goals. Sessions are also available at our Forest, VA office location.
Do you accept insurance?
3D Movement and Rehab operates as a self-pay, out-of-network provider. This means your plan of care is determined by what your body actually needs — not by insurance visit limits or pre-authorization requirements. Many clients use HSA/FSA accounts. We're happy to provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement; contact us to discuss your options.
What happens during the 90-minute initial evaluation?
Your first visit is a comprehensive, head-to-toe movement assessment in all planes of motion. Dr. DeWitt identifies the root cause of your pain or injury, develops a personalized plan of care with a realistic timeline, and begins hands-on treatment — all in the same session. Bring any relevant imaging, surgical notes, or prior PT records if you have them.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Forest, Lynchburg, Bedford, Rustburg, Amherst, and surrounding areas of Central Virginia. Remote rehabilitation services are also available for clients who travel or have demanding schedules.
How is 3D Movement and Rehab different from a traditional PT clinic?
Three key differences: (1) Every session is one-on-one with Dr. DeWitt — no aides, no double-booking. (2) Treatment uses a three-dimensional functional movement approach (Applied Functional Science, Gray Institute) to find the actual cause of your issue rather than treating symptoms. (3) As a self-pay practice, care is driven by your goals and timeline, not insurance restrictions. Evaluations are 90+ minutes; follow-up sessions are 60+ minutes.
What conditions and injuries do you treat?
We treat a wide range of orthopedic, sports, and neurological conditions — including hip pain, hip impingement, labral tears, low back pain, sciatica, knee pain, runner's knee, ACL injuries, shoulder pain, rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, neck pain, headaches, TMJ pain, and more. We also support post-surgical rehab, cancer rehabilitation, pediatric PT, geriatric PT, and performance training for athletes at all levels.
What is dry needling and do I need it?
Dry needling uses a thin, non-injecting needle to target muscular trigger points — reducing pain, releasing tightness, improving blood flow, and accelerating tissue healing. It's particularly effective for hip flexor pain, headaches, shoulder tightness, and chronic muscle tension. Dr. DeWitt has been certified in integrated dry needling since 2018. Not everyone needs it — it's recommended only when it's the right tool for your specific presentation.
How do I get started?
Simply call or email us to schedule your evaluation. Once booked, Dr. DeWitt will confirm your appointment location (mobile or office), answer any pre-visit questions, and ensure you're prepared to make the most of your first 90-minute session. Still have questions? Reach out at (434) 941-8212 or cashdewitt@3dmovementandrehab.com — we're happy to chat before you commit.
